Citrus greening
What is Citrus Greening?
Citrus Greening is a bacterial infection that is devastating the citrus industry worldwide. The bacteria spreads throughout the tree and causes the phloem (the tube that allows nutrients to flow between the roots, branches, leaves and fruit) to become constricted and prevents their proper function. This disease is very contagious and can spread rapidly wherever it is found, and your trees may be infected although they do not yet show the symptoms of yellowing leaves and/or misshaped fruit.
